The five-storey development consists of 63 high-specification apartments, including one-, two- and three-bedroom homes and penthouses, many of which enjoy panoramic views over Dublin Bay. BB7 Response
BB7 was appointed as the Assigned Certifier for the project. In this role, we were responsible for overseeing and certifying that all aspects of the project complied with the Building Control Amendment Regulations (BCAR), ensuring that all building works met statutory standards for safety, quality, and performance. Our duties included coordinating with the design and construction teams to ensure certification requirements were understood and integrated at every stage.
Throughout the project, BB7 carefully monitored progress on-site, reviewed inspection documentation, and addressed compliance challenges as they arose. The replacement of both the main contractor and the design team partway through the build introduced significant challenges. However, our technical expertise and continuity of oversight ensured that compliance was maintained throughout. Our early involvement and consistent presence enabled us to manage the transition effectively, adapting to changes while upholding regulatory standards.
