BB7 Response
BB7 were appointed as the lead fire & access consultant on the client’s technical due diligence team. Our role involved reviewing information relating to compliance with Parts B & M of the building regulations and raising queries with the design team in order to satisfy ourselves that the functional objectives of the Building Regulations would be met. As such, BB7 were well positioned to understand the client’s requirements and support them throughout the project.
Benefits of service
The team completed the due diligence exercise on the building’s safety file and identified items that the client should be aware of. In addition, the fire and accessibility statutory approvals for the building were documented along with their conditions. The fire safety management strategy for the building was also outlined to ensure that the client was aware of their obligations.
Additionally, we attended site to ensure that the development was being constructed in accordance with the relevant information provided to us by the principle design team.
